Dreamina & Seedance / FIELD NOTES
Download CapCut-related AI videos shared as Dreamina works
This page is for a specific link type: public Dreamina works hosted on dreamina.capcut.com. If you call a clip a “CapCut AI video,” check its actual sharing address before using the form. A model or brand name does not identify whether the link exposes a supported media file.
Download your own work or content you have permission to save.
Match the link to the supported workflow
| What you have | What to do |
|---|---|
| Dreamina /ai-tool/work-detail/ link with a numeric ID | Resolve the individual public work and check the returned media. |
| CapCut template or editor project link | Use the relevant CapCut project or export workflow; this is not a supported Dreamina work route. |
| A Seedance product or model information page | Obtain the public link for the finished creation itself. |
| A direct signed video address | Return to the Dreamina work page and copy its public share link. |
| A local exported video already on your device | Use that local file in your editor; this form resolves public links, not uploads. |
Related names do not expand URL support
CapCut’s official announcement places Dreamina Seedance 2.0 within its editing and generation products. That explains the overlap in names, but those products can still use different project and sharing systems. This service is configured for the Dreamina work-detail host and path.
A capcut.com project link cannot be made compatible by replacing part of the hostname with dreamina.capcut.com. The work must actually exist at a public Dreamina work address. Obtain that address from the creator when the material is shared and you have permission to save it.
Download a Dreamina work for an editing project
An imported MP4 is a rendered clip. Its scenes, text and effects are not separate editable layers merely because they originated in a CapCut-related tool. This download does not include an editor timeline, source prompts, reference assets or effect settings.
- Open the public Dreamina work and copy its full individual link.
- Resolve it here and verify that the preview matches the intended clip.
- Save the source MP4 and confirm the transfer has finished.
- Import the local file into your editing application and check dimensions, duration and sound.
- Keep the unchanged source and the work link with your project assets.
Account exports and public renditions can differ
For a project you control, the application’s own export function is the place to choose available project settings and account-specific options. The downloader has no access to those controls. It returns the accessible public source without promising a particular resolution, a watermark-free version or a match to the creator’s master file.
If you only need a short silent preview, GIF is a separate conversion of up to the first 15 seconds at reduced width and frame rate. If you need the soundtrack, MP3 requires audio in the source. Save MP4 first when you need to preserve the moving picture and its existing sound together.
Troubleshoot the link type before retrying
For an unsupported-URL response, inspect the hostname and path. For an expired result, paste the original public Dreamina work URL again. For a public page that no longer loads as a guest, check its sharing state on the platform. Repeatedly submitting an editor or template link will not change its type.

Does this download every CapCut AI video?

Can I recover an editable CapCut project from the MP4?
No. The MP4 is rendered media and does not contain the original project timeline or editable generation settings.
