Dreamina & Seedance / INFORMATION

Use the Dreamina downloader API

The API resolves supported public Dreamina work links into a short-lived result with the available formats. It follows the same guest-access restrictions and media limits as the website. This is a downloader API, not a Dreamina generation API.

Resolve a link

POST /api/resolve
Content-Type: application/json

{ "url": "https://dreamina.capcut.com/ai-tool/work-detail/…" }

The response contains a temporary session ID, title, source URL, preview route and an array of formats. Sessions expire after ten minutes.

Download a source

GET /api/download?id=SESSION_ID&format=original

Supports a single byte Range request. Use the same domain that created the session. Public GET endpoint: /api/v1/resolve?url=ENCODED_URL, limited to 60 requests per hour per IP.

Prepare a conversion

POST /api/convert
{ "id": "SESSION_ID", "format": "gif" }

GET /api/progress/JOB_ID

The progress endpoint emits server-sent events. A done event includes a temporary download URL. A 503 BUSY response means another conversion is active. Files must be under 200 MB and 10 minutes.

Check several links

POST /api/batch
{ "urls": ["PUBLIC_SHARE_URL"] }

Up to ten links. Each result contains either a download session or an individual error. There is no API key and fair-use limits apply.

Design around short-lived results

Keep the normalized public work URL as the input you can resolve again. Result sessions expire after ten minutes and are specific to this site. Dreamina media addresses are refreshed from the work page for a download request; avoid treating a signed source address or a session ID as a permanent media identifier.

Use the returned formats and errors

Choose from the formats returned for the actual media. A video can offer MP3 even though conversion later discovers no audio stream. A still image has a different set of applicable outputs. Handle errors at the result or conversion stage and keep the original link available for a retry.

  • Batch resolve accepts up to ten links; inspect each result for its own error.
  • Source files and a combined source ZIP are limited to 200 MB.
  • Conversions run one at a time and process up to ten minutes of media.
  • Rate limits apply separately to resolving, conversions, batching and reports; a busy response calls for a delayed retry.

Keep integrations within public access

Do not send Dreamina credentials or cookies. An upstream restriction cannot be solved by increasing request volume. Use the live status and descriptive error response to distinguish a temporary capacity issue from an unavailable public work.
