Dreamina & Seedance / FIELD NOTES

Save a Seedance clip shared through Dreamina

A Seedance model name describes how a clip was created. The downloader needs the public page where that particular clip is shared. Here, the supported route is an individual Dreamina work page on dreamina.capcut.com. A Seedance product page or an editor project is not enough to locate a file.

Separate the model name from the share link

CapCut describes Dreamina Seedance 2.0 as a video and audio model in its official announcement. That connection explains why people may refer to the same creative workflow using the names Seedance, Dreamina and CapCut. It does not make every link from those products interchangeable.

The downloader accepts the Dreamina work-detail address and retrieves the accessible media from it. It does not select a model, run a generation, inspect your generation history or certify that a clip was made with a particular Seedance version. Treat a model name in a title as creator-provided context unless you have a separate record of the generation.

Save the finished clip

The saved video is a rendered result. It does not contain editable generation controls, reference assets or the complete prompt history. This Dreamina extractor does not export a model recipe or a prompt text file. Keep those records in your creation workflow if you need to reproduce an experiment.

  1. Open the finished creation and obtain its public Dreamina work link.
  2. Check that the link opens the intended work as a guest.
  3. Paste the complete link into this downloader and review the media result.
  4. Save the source video, then open the local file to check its duration, picture and soundtrack.
  5. Record the source link and any model or permission information in your own project notes.

Organize a few shot variants

When comparing several permitted variations of a scene, collect each individual work link. Batch mode can resolve up to ten links and offers a source ZIP within a 200 MB combined limit. Review every result before treating the folder as a complete shot list; an unavailable work can produce its own error.

Rename local copies to match your scene or take numbers after saving them. Keep a separate list connecting those names to the work URLs. This prevents a descriptive title shared by several generations from becoming the only way to identify which take reached an edit.

Choose a soundtrack or still only when needed

The source MP4 is the practical master for a rendered clip. MP3 conversion can extract a soundtrack if one exists, but it does not split narration, music and sound effects into separate tracks. GIF drops audio and limits the animation to the first 15 seconds. JPG provides the first frame without a frame picker.

None of these outputs proves model identity or restores a higher-resolution account export. Compare the source and the derivative in the application where you will use them; a silent presentation loop and a video edit have different file requirements.

Questions about this guide

Does the downloader work with Seedance hosted elsewhere?

This site supports the listed Dreamina work-detail route. A different host or a CapCut project URL is outside that route, even when its title mentions Seedance.

Does downloading preserve native generation files?

It retrieves the accessible rendered media. It does not retrieve a generation project, references, editable layers or separate audio stems.
