Download a public Dreamina image when a source is available
Dreamina work pages can expose different kinds of media. This service can return an image when it finds a supported public image URL and does not select a video URL first. Image availability is conditional; an image-mode link alone does not guarantee that an accessible still-image source exists.

A still-image source and a video frame are different
An image source comes from the still image exposed by the work page. A JPG conversion of a video comes from the video’s first frame. The frame can have different dimensions, compression and content from the image that was originally used to create the video.
Downloading a frame does not recover the reference image, its layers or the original generation project. If you need the still image itself, obtain the public work link for that image. A clip made from an image and the image work are not interchangeable sources.
Keep the image type in the link
The work address must use the supported dreamina.capcut.com host and numeric work-detail path. The image-type parameter is retained when the page is requested. The parser still depends on the media that the public response exposes and on whether the media host is supported.
- Open the individual Dreamina image work you want to save.
- Copy its complete public work-detail link, including workDetailType=Image when present.
- Check that the link opens the intended work for a guest, then paste it into the downloader.
- Review whether the result is an image or a video before choosing an output.
- Save the image source first, then make another format only if your destination needs it.
Choose between the image source and a conversion
The result lists conversions applicable to the detected source. Converting a JPEG to PNG does not reverse earlier JPEG compression. An extension change alone is not a conversion; use the offered result and open the saved file to verify it before replacing a working original.

Understand the current image coverage
A work that shares both a video and an image may return the video. For a still image, start with the individual image work and check the result before saving. The downloader does not collect every image in a grid, export a canvas or let you select among multiple reference images.
Image availability depends on the particular public work. If you can see a picture on Dreamina but no image download is offered here, use the original work’s available export controls. A JPG made from a video is its first frame; it is not a separate still-image creation.
Keep the context outside the image file
This Dreamina integration does not offer a prompt or generation-recipe download. Keep any model, prompt and creator-credit information separately when you have permission to use it. Do not infer that a downloaded image carries a licence or contains all of the creator’s settings.
If a source URL expires, resolve the work page again. A removed image or an inaccessible source needs attention on the platform side; selecting PNG instead of JPG cannot change guest access. For a visible error on a still-public work, include the work URL and the attempted output in a contact report.
Questions about this guide
Can I choose a later frame from a Dreamina video?
No. The current JPG video conversion exports the first frame only. Save the source video and use your own editor if you need a different moment.
Does the image downloader upscale or remove watermarks?
No. It retrieves the available source or converts its format. It does not add resolution or remove marks from the picture.
